Floating on their paddle boards after sunset, 12-year-old Jaysea DeVoe and her friend Miely adopt a yoga pose, in what looks like the very picture of Californian easy living.

But when it comes to yoga, DeVoe is not playing around. She has completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training and is now believed to be the youngest certified female yoga instructor in the United States.

DeVoe teaches pint-sized preschoolers, teens and fellow tweens in the California beach town of Encinitas and is about to start a family yoga class.

She also just told her dad she wants to look into making eco-friendly yoga mats.

"I feel like I want to do this for a long time because I love teaching so much," she says.
