Shooting star, fleeting moment
A meteor, or shooting star, streaks across the sky during the Perseid meteor shower on Smetovi Mountain near Kraljevine in the early morning. The annual Perseid meteor shower reached its peak on August 12 and 13, NASA says.
The Perseid meteor shower is sparked every August when the Earth passes through a stream of space debris left by the comet Swift-Tuttle.
