Mermaids on parade
Coney Island’s annual Mermaid Parade is a chance for participants to show off some weird and wonderful seaside outfits.
Mermaid costumes were only the beginning. Those who took part in the event wore all sorts of getup, from body paint to bizarre fish masks.
