Buildings all around the world had their lights switched out for 60 minutes on March 23 to mark Earth Hour – a mass initiative to show concern about climate change.

Organisers say millions of people in 152 countries and territories took part in the event. Among them was this group in Shanghai, who wanted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of individuals blowing out candles at the same time.
