Out working the land

Work done by small-scale farmers like herself in Nepal can be hard, involving long hours of labour in the baking sun to cut and bring in the ripened crop by hand. Nevertheless, many can be found joking and singing with one another while out on their small plots of land, harvesting the grain that will support them over the coming year.
