Surfing at sunrise
Carlos Price Gracida, 13, looks out at the ocean. Like most mornings, he has woken up early to spend an hour surfing at sunrise in Hermosa Beach, California.
Carlos and his friends have been surfing for years. After enjoying the morning waves, they head to their friend’s home, shower in the backyard and then walk to school.
