Birds of a feather
Volunteers gather flamingo chicks at Fuente de Piedra, a nature reserve near Malaga, in southern Spain.
They face a big task. They are taking part in the process of gathering around 500 flamingos, which are tagged and measured before being placed back in the Fuente de Piedra lagoon, the site of one of the largest flamingo colonies in Europe according to reserve authorities.
