Former Marine Jack Wright is given a kiss by Shirlene King - his girlfriend of 30 years, and now his wife.

The 88-year-old veteran, who is one of 11 remaining U.S. survivors of the World War II Battle of Guadalcanal, married 57-year-old King in the oncology radiation department of the Veterans Administration hospital in Los Angeles, after undergoing treatment for his head and neck cancer there.
